Primary and Secondary Sources Comparison

A primary source is an original firsthand account of an event adn it is udefull because it expresses the thoughts and feeling of the writer, it can provide details that only an eyewitness can provide. It can be not useful because it only provides one viewpoint, there are not any opinions, and the writter may not know everything. Some primary sources are diaries and autobiographies.
A secondary source is a secondhand account written by a writer who wasn't in the event. It is useful because it gives broad views of the story and it contains facts. It can be not useful because it is based on primary sources. Some secondary sources are encyclopedias and biographies.
