“’The Storyteller’ - Memorable Books from My Childhood.”

"Green Eggs and Ham" br DR. Seuss.
"Where the Red Fern Grows" by Wilson Rawls.
"Horton Hears A Who" by DR. Seuss.
"Captain Underpants" by Dave Pilkey.
"Cat in The Hat" by DR. Seuss.

My favorite childrens book used to be "Green Eggs and Ham" by DR. Seuss because one of the characters name is Sam-I-Am or simply Sam and thats my name. I liked this book because it rhymes, its funny, and it was one of the first books I read by myself. There are two main characters, the first is unnamed, the second is Sam-I-Am. Throughout the book, Sam tries to encourage the first unnamed character to try green eggs and ham, though he meets with little success. The unnamed character refuses to taste the dish, insisting that he would not like it.
