“Through the Tunnel” Analysis Paragraph

In “Through the Tunnel” by Doris Lessing I find it convincing that Jerry takes such a risk and survives because I have heard of alot of bad accidents happen in the news and the people still survive. Like the Chilean Miners, they were trapped in a mine and then they got rescued and survived.
